What is usually a very close run affair turned out to be one sided this evening, unfortunately in Llandaff Norths favour! Birchleaf won the toss and opted to field first, taking 5 in the first round of batting. The good start wasn't to continue though with the remaining Llandaff North players sticking. The flat dry pitch did Birchleaf no favours and the fielders worked hard to stop the ever bouncing ball. Llandaff North scored 107 in their first innings but took Birchleaf out at 47, forcing Birchleaf straight back in to bat. It wasn't to be and the game ended with Llandaff North winning by an innings.
