Last night saw the return leg at Heath Park and what a difference a couple of weeks has made for St Peters! The kids were in fine form, showing obvious signs of progression in their game and all of them enthusiastic and willing to learn. They were a pleasure to play against. Still, there was a job to be done and Birchleaf kept St Peters B to 27 runs in the 1st innings, declared on 71 themselves and then stopped St Peters after 12 runs in their 2nd innings. Back to The Three Horse Shoes for sausage & chips :-)
